About Me
Hey beautiful soul!
I’m Sabrina—the heart behind Sacred Healing Journeys,
a space born from my own deep journey of self-discovery, healing, and transformation.


Before founding Sacred Healing Journeys, I worked as an Environmental Engineer, and after moving to New Zealand in 2016, I became a professional gliding instructor. I spent several years teaching people from all over the world to fly safely in the Southern Alps—ranging from ab-initio training for first-timers to advanced mountain soaring skills for experienced pilots.

Having always been interested in alternative and holistic healing modalities, I made the decision in 2023 to change careers once again—this time to align my personal healing journey with my professional path. Since then, I’ve pursued a 400 hr Diploma in Psychology and Counselling, a 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training, and a 100-hour Trauma-Informed Yin Yoga Facilitator Training, which I now combine with over 1,000 hours of teaching and facilitation experience across various areas of my personal and professional life.
​With a lifelong love for the outdoors, I’m rarely inside on a sunny day — whether it’s snow, water, or wilderness. These days, my daughter often joins me on these adventures.

The Birth of
Sacred Healing Journeys
Born from my lived experience with postpartum PTSD and anxiety, my work is guided by a heartfelt desire to walk alongside others
on their unique journey—
offering practical, empowering tools
for emotional resilience, self-nurture, and sustainable growth.
After becoming a mother in 2021, I found myself navigating the overwhelming and terrifying challenges of trauma—nightmares, flashbacks, dissociation, destructive thoughts and behaviours, as well as panic attacks, ruled my life to the point where I no longer recognised or understood myself. With the support of professional counselling and a return to yoga—a practice introduced to me in childhood by my mother—I began to rebuild and take charge of my life. Counselling helped me make sense of my experiences on a mental level and taught me healthier ways of thinking, while yoga allowed me to reconnect with my body—becoming aware of physical sensations, my breath, and how they related to what I was feeling. It was this powerful combination of talk therapy, journalling, and yoga that turned my world around. It is now my heartfelt desire to share the tools and insights I’ve gained through my own experience in this unique approach—which combines written self-coaching, yoga, and meditative practices—in the hope that they may help others.
