Written
Self-Coaching
A silent form of therapy in which individuals respond in writing —privately and without sharing their answers — to questions originating from various psychotherapy and counselling approaches, each building on the knowledge gained from the previous question fostering personal insight and encouraging self-reflection.

Yoga
Originating in ancient India, this holistic practice — spiritual, mental, physical, and philosophical — integrates body, breath, mind, and ethical principles to promote overall well-being and foster a state of harmony and union.
Sacred Healing Journeys offers Yin and Vinyasa-based yoga with a trauma-informed lens.

Meditative Practices
Meditative practices, which include traditional meditation and visualization techniques, involve focusing attention and cultivating awareness with the intention of calming the mind and helping individuals connect more deeply with themselves and the present moment.

My Qualifications
I am a qualified yoga teacher based in Omarama,
with over 1,000 hours of experience mentoring others in different areas of my personal and professional life.
I teach from the heart — rooted in my personal journey through mental health challenges.
My approach draws deeply from lived experience
and is supported by formal qualifications in yoga, psychology, and counselling,
guiding others toward empowerment, nurture and growth.
400 hr Diploma in Psychology & Counselling
In December 2023, I completed my Diploma with the Career Academy.
My studies deepened my understanding of how trauma, childhood experiences, and our environment shape the way we interact with the world as adults. I also gained insight into common mental health challenges and various therapeutic approaches.
200 hr Vinyasa Yoga Teacher
I completed my Vinyasa Teacher Training with Nadi in Queenstown in 2024.
While learning how to design and lead a yoga class, the most valuable aspect for me has been the 8 Limbs of Yoga, which have greatly supported me in making decisions and navigating daily life.
100 hr Trauma-Informed Yin Yoga Facilitator
The 100-hour Restorative Yin Yoga Facilitator Training with SomaPsych introduced me to trauma-informed yoga.
I especially value the techniques I learned to regulate my own nervous system, which have become essential in managing challenging situations with greater calm and confidence.
